Privacy

Your information,
handled with purpose.

This notice describes how Paul Arntz, operating as Useful Systems, handles information collected through this website.

Information you choose to send

The inquiry form collects your name, email address, optional business name, selected area of interest, and message. This information is used to respond to your inquiry, discuss a potential engagement, and maintain related correspondence.

Website hosting and form processing

The site is configured for hosting and form processing through Netlify. When you visit or submit a form, the hosting provider may process technical information such as your IP address, browser information, and request logs to deliver the site, protect it from abuse, and process submissions.

Analytics and advertising

With your permission, we use Google Ads measurement to understand which ads lead to visits and successful inquiries. Google may receive your IP address, browser information, page URL, advertising click identifiers, and a submission event with a random identifier. Google Ads may store cookies to connect a visit with an ad interaction. Your name, email address, business name, and message are not sent to Google by our measurement code. Enhanced conversions and personalized advertising are disabled.

Google measurement does not load until you choose “Allow measurement.” “No thanks” keeps it off, and the contact form works either way. We remember your choice in this browser for up to 180 days. You can change it using “Cookie preferences” in the footer. Global Privacy Control, when enabled in your browser, keeps optional measurement off. Ad blockers and declined consent may mean an inquiry is not shown in Google Ads. Read Google's advertising privacy information.

Fonts are served with the website. Inquiry details are not sold or used to add you to a marketing mailing list.

If you arrive from our Google Search promotion, the site remembers that campaign's label in your browser tab for the session and includes it with an inquiry you submit. This helps us understand whether the promotion produces useful inquiries even when optional Google measurement is off. This session label does not contain click IDs or personal information.

Access and retention

Information may be handled by the service providers needed to host the website and manage correspondence. Inquiry details are kept for responding to the request and managing related business records, then reviewed for deletion when no longer needed.

Keep sensitive information out of the form

Please do not send passwords, financial account information, private customer records, or other sensitive material through the inquiry form. If a project requires confidential information, an appropriate way to share it can be agreed separately.

Questions or requests

To ask about your information or request correction or deletion, use the contact form and mention “privacy request.” Please provide only the information needed to identify your earlier inquiry.
